Your rights
You have the right to dignity, respect, privacy, safety, choice and control. You can ask questions, receive information in a way you understand, make decisions about your life and support, and be included in planning and reviews.
Your choices
You can choose who supports you, say what matters to you, ask for changes, decline support and involve a family member, guardian, nominee, advocate or another person you trust. We will discuss risks and choices openly and respectfully.
Advocacy and support to speak up
An advocate can help you understand your rights, make decisions and raise concerns. You can use an independent advocate at any time. We will not stop you from seeking advocacy or treat you differently for doing so.
Feedback and complaints
You can give feedback or make a complaint without fear of disadvantage. See our Complaints and Feedback policy or contact us for support to raise a concern.
