We may collect contact details, communication preferences, enquiry and referral information, support information needed to discuss our services, and other information you choose to provide. Health and disability information is sensitive information, and we only collect it when it is reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries, assess whether our service may be suitable, provide and coordinate agreed support, meet legal and regulatory obligations, manage feedback and complaints, and improve our services. We do not use sensitive information for unrelated purposes without consent or another lawful basis.
Consent, sharing and security
We seek consent before sharing personal information with family members, nominees, referrers or other providers unless we are required or authorised by law to disclose it. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Access, correction and questions
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or ask a privacy question, by emailing engagement@thediversecollective.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time. You may also raise a privacy concern with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
